So long as Ford keeps putting the horn under the hood, the hood latch is a target for thieves who want to get to the horn to disable it before attempting to steal the pickup. This bracket prevents thieves from being able to easily pop the hood.

Had to make a custom tool for the allen head screw to install as the one provided is too long and will not work for installing the screw, other than that easy. You need to cut about 1/2" off the allen head wrench so it will fit and a small dab of putty to hold the screw would be nice.

Installation wasn't too difficult... but what is unspoken in the product description is that they have the entire grille assembly removed for easy access during installation. Now I found that I could install it without removing the grille... BUT... you either need long fingers to be able to reach the bolt in order to begin threading the nut, or use long forceps to hold the nut while turning the Allen-head bolt.

Fits perfect, although getting the bolt in from the backside was a huge challenge. I ended up cutting the Allen wrench off short in order to get the bolt in correctly. Apparently the space is a lot tighter on an F150 like mine.
