The Ranger's Vest

My new favorite ranger outfit!

I am still thrilled that I bought this beautifully designed and embroidered, hooded kneelength "vest". The fact that it is real linen cloth really sold me, as well as the quality of the workmanship. (I say that as a person with 45 years of sewing experience). I have not yet had a chance to wear my rangers vest to LARP, but I did try it on without any bulky clothes (like I did at the Faire). While Size L-XL will be great for wearing over something else, but it gapes a little under the arms with just a bra on (I am a size M bordering on L). I think I should have gone with the S-M size, as the overlap style would have allowed for expansion over a sweater or long sleeve shirt. My only thought for improvement would be a lining of 100% cotton instead of a polyester blend.

I love the style & design just wish I got the next size up can't overlap the front, I did follow the size chart but curves are hard to incorporate into a chart. I'll get the green one next. I look forward to taking her for a spin at a local Ren Faire! The pockets are great & I'm in love with the belt!
