It's pretty easy to set everything. I have no problem put the thread in . I start to use it and be able to embroidery 5 t'shirt using the built in letter. For a beginner it is helpful to be able to watch the video on youtube and follow their direction. I love all the tools including the USB drive . I love it.

Purchased for our daughter. She loves it. Started using it the day she received it. Says its very user friendly and ease of use makes it a perfect machine for beginners
