I've used this product for many years for my hand washables. I use the lavender scented, which will make you want to do wash, just to smell it. The scent remains with the product throughout its life, in the bottle. I can't say I notice the scent on the clothes when they are dry. It's a bit expensive, but lasts forever. I do wish it was available in a smaller size.
