Lock Playhead is Incredible Useful!
Very often I’m editing or comping a vocal and the play head just jumps around cause I click on the wrong thing. This is the solution!

Exactly what I have been looking for
There really is a Max 4 Live device for anything. I recently asked a friend if he knew a solution to this problem, but unfortunately couldn't help me further. Then I stumbled upon Elisabeth Homeland and also found this device.
It does exactly what you want it to do. I often comp recording takes and have to listen with more context, so I can easily lock the playhead in e. g. bar 8, start playback from there and then listen to the different takes in bar 9.
Assign a keyboard shortcut to the device and with two keyboard strikes you can unset and reset the lock playhead position.
