Wanted to love.

Love the length and the material, with the Tencel bringing 'lightweight' and 'breathable' to durable denim. Unfortunately, despite ordering the size that fits true to my measurements, I've ended up with a pair of jorts that are simply too big due to the stretch that occurs after wearing. I was hopeful that a wash and dry would shrink them up a bit but nah. I'd urge Ripton to soften on their return policy because you just can't know how a pair of jeans is going to truly fit without washing and wearing first. Size down if you're considering these.

ok these were the shorts I’ve been waiting for! Perfect fit, not too tight, not too baggy…just right! I do agree that they would be even more perfect with a gusseted crotch BUT even regardless they are my go-tos and I’m ordering another pair. They were a bit tight/would ride up the first couple wears but have loosened and stretched and now fit like a dream.
