PDP Riffmaster Wireless Guitar Controller

Excellent controller

I've used this controller with Rock Band 4 for a few weeks now, and I can't find anything bad to say about it at all. The buttons and strum bar all read perfectly, make much less noise when playing, and there's so much less lag between this and the console than the older controllers I was using (make sure to recalibrate lag in the game!). I thought I had sort of topped out at how well I could play the hardest songs for years now, but since using this one I've been wiping away most of my old scores in ways that feel like it's less strenuous on my hands and my strumming arm. I think it's just because it reads and responds so much better, and I don't have to sort of force the fret/strum as much as I was subconsciously before. It just feels good and plays great. Cannot recommend it enough, and already considering grabbing another as a backup and for multiplayer. (Especially because you never know how long you'll be able to buy good hardware like this for these old games). Haven't tried other games with it still, but highly recommended for RB4. Only notes: -Using the headphone jack to play quieter is awesome, BUT you'll definitely have audio lag on your end from that. Sound will hit your ear a bit late. You'll want to recalibrate each time you go from a Using Headphone Setup to a Speaker Setup. -No Star Power button, have to tilt. Not a huge deal, I feel like I'm used to it already, but it's basically the only thing that seems to be 'missing' on this controller. Everything else is just better to me!

Great Hardware overall!

This Guitar is a pretty good pick to play all your favourite songs in RockBand 4, Fortnite Festival or even Clone Hero! (PS Version works fine on PC, too!) I really like the familar look of the official Rock Band 4 Guitar from Mad Catz + better haptics and very good touch response. But there is 1 design issue for me, the position of the Analog Stick at the back of the guitar head backside, is really annoying for me. I'm so familar with the RB4 original guitar that I can't reassign my left hand so easily in a different position anymore. . . I guess I will need some practise time to get used to it. Overall, this guitar can be recommended at all, easily!
