Wool Button Down Shirt

Replaced legacy Woolrich - Jac shirt!

Own- Woolrich & Filson, US made wool outerwear. As a New Englander, have always seen Johnson. Visited store w/ intent to purchase either caped or plain wool "shirt". Favored button down over zip. Impressed with the quality/feel of the wool & workmanship. Glad I visited in person as I found sizing inconsistent from one style to another. 5'9", 150 lbs usually = true medium. M-shirt too short in sleeve, could not button top button. Opted 4 L. Fit is right, though sleeve is a tad longer than ideal. Expect to layer so w/ wear and expected shrink if wet & dry.👍👍 Appreciate the brand, the quality the heritage and the: Made in USA.

Comfortable and durable, nice fit sized up

This shirt is looks good and breathes well, comfortable in cool and warm weather. It seems like it will wear well, with a durable appearance and feel. I normally wear an XL, so I chose XXL based on the other reviews, and it's just about a perfect fit- I'm 6'4" with a 42" chest; the sleeve length is good, and it's a nice relaxed fit on me.

The Heavy Duty Wool Shirt I Wanted

This is a great product. One that only JWM seems to still be manufacturing in the US. I've looked for one like it for several years without success and was delighted when someone pointed me to JWM as a possible source. Thanks to them for continuing to make this type of clothing in an era of artificial fabrics
