The Walt Crossbody PDF Pattern

Love this pattern! I made the smaller version and it’s so cute!

Full disclosure: I haven’t finished making this pattern yet, I’m just now constructing the internal pockets. But from what I’ve sewn so far and from reading ahead through the rest of the pattern, this is a very thorough, well-written pattern! I am not new to sewing but I am newer to bag-making and I don’t have an industrial machine, so I am working with some lighter-weight materials than the designer and a lot of people who make this pattern probably do. But I am having no trouble sewing this up thanks to the written instructions and the very helpful video, which both include tips that are really helpful for a beginner but which might go unsaid in other bag-making patterns that are more exclusively aimed at intermediate or advanced bagmakers. So if you’re more on the advanced/adventurous beginner side like me and are thinking about trying this pattern: do it! I have been very glad I did.

Loved how this pattern came together. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Just make sure to read all the way through and take your time. Beautiful results every time!
