Hapstone Magic oil 2 oz (60ml)

Hapstone Magic Oil is my favorite water based sharpening fluid because it evaporates slower than water or soapy water but still keeps the metallic bonded (and electroplated) stones cutting quickly and loading less. It is easy to clean off the stones when putting them away after using Magic Oil too. It is thick so it stays on the stones better compared to thinner water based solutions which usually evaporate more quickly and also can run down the blade and into the clamps possibly causing the blade to slip and change your sharpening angle. Start by using the least amount that will spread thinly over the entire surface of the stone, check it often while in use, and reapply as often as needed to avoid drying.
