Sprinter Van Passenger Floor Riser Compartment

Not as pleased as I expected

This item is great in theory, and my wife really likes the raised foot height (especially after 1300 miles in 5 days last week) but there are a few concerns. Without weight on it the lid vibrates on any dirt or rough road, which gets annoying quickly. The instructions state that it works with the OEM floormats, thou not preferred, but we couldn't make it work with them at all. It wouldn't stay put, made more noise, and looked horrible. We ended up cutting the OEM floor mat so the compartment rests on the floor. Now it fits better but we lost the floormat under it for wet days. It would be really nice if the compartment attached to the seat base using the existing holes in the front of the seat base versus magnets that don't hold it in place on washboard roads.

Decent product, allows my wife to ride in comfort as her feet can now touch the ground. Stays in place with just the magnets which surprised me.
