SharpMate Plus - Chisels & Planes Sharpening System

My Chisels are tapered so had to be careful how they were clamped in the jig to get the 30 degree angle. My Block Plane Blade and Stanley NO. 4 Plane Blades are too thin to clamp, I had to put a shim in to clamp them. Overall very good tool.

I’m working on guitars as a hobby. I have been using another sharping jig for a while, every time I get a little different pattern on the blades as I start to hone them. I have used this now about six times. Consistent angle quick set up so I sharpen more and extremely well built. I love it and the results I’m getting thank you.

What a great sharpening system. I basically just touched up all of my chisels and plane irons at the 30° setting and was cutting through paper like butter. I am awaiting another dual side "fine" diamond stone. The next sharpening will be even better. Super easy to use and set up and will be a breeze to touch up any of my tools in the future.
