Waxed Nautilus Jacket

Lovely jacket, love the kanvas and the Sherpa lining. Well chuffed. Measurements on the sizing chart were slightly confusing, however managed to get the size perfect at an XL when usually I would be a L.

Beautiful olive-green jacket; the waxed finish and the effect it creates on the fabric are very nice. However, it has some flaws I didn’t expect to find in a jacket that costs almost €400. First of all, it won’t protect you from the cold — despite being heavyweight, I’ve felt cold wearing it on these autumn mornings (with a flannel shirt and a T-shirt underneath). Secondly, although the zipper feels high-quality, it’s quite difficult to fasten. Lastly, the collar area has some defects — it frays easily, and I expected better quality. Regarding the sizing, recommending one size up was a good call. I usually wear an M, but I bought an L, and it fits me perfectly.
