i got this a year and a half ago and for some reason put it aside as i was buying other stuff. grass is always greener. after my buying sprees petered out i realized this beat anything in the category with lume that actually lumes, subtle domed crystal, 40mm (that's come back into vogue) classic olex/udor styling and a bezel with no backplay...plus 1000m water resist...that's the ballgame. no nonsense dial of luxury divers, very nice size tactical crown. after putting it aside after i got it, it's like i've a new watch now, and i love it!

Marine engineer with bonklip

This is a brilliant watch, super functional and it looks great on the wrist. My only draw back however was the bonklip i was slightly disappointed by it, Im not sure if all bonklips are like this but it felt cheap and if I slightly bump it it comes undone which isn’t very good for spear fishing and diving which is where I will wear this watch. So Im just going to get a simple NATO strap to fix this issue. I will say the bonklip still looks great it’s just not where I need it to be sturdiness wise.

I wanted to find a new watch, my first in over 20 years, for our upcoming trip to Australia. I wanted a watch that could stand up to a bit of rough use, that did not wear large, and was unobtrusive enough to wear to dinner. I chose the Marine Engineer, after much back and forth. I like that Redwood is a Canadian company, and that this watch was assembled in Canada. Finally, the watch just looks perfect on my wrist. It is running fine, with the Bonklip strap I ordered with the watch. I have had a lot of compliments on the watch and strap.
