SPEEDY TAIL 2.0

It was great fun for our three cats until they managed to flip it into the water dish. It still works, but getting the different modes to work properly has been a bit of a challenge. We still think it’s a great toy for our cats.

It works. But has to be on high setting to work on carpet. It stops after five minutes even with the supposed setting where it activates by touching it. That never wors. Even when I try. Never. Have three balls, same with them all. I wish the tail was a little longer. Al-in-all they are decent. Have yet to find one that works great and/or where the charging stops working after a few months. My cat does play with it and it's the best I have found so far, just needs some improvement.

Ok, I've had this for about 3 weeks now and here's why I hate it: 1. The ball get's stuck on its own tail ALL THE TIME. I bought this for my cats to chase during the day while I'm working. I spend half my day un-sticking it from its own tail 2. The grip on the ball is basically non-existent. It has issues on both my tile and carpeted floors. The carpet it doesn't seem to be able to have enough torque to spin the ball at slower speeds, but the tile spins so fast that it doesn't grab the tile. I can't put it on high speed on the tile, but I can't do low speed on the carpet so it becomes un-usable once it crosses that threshold. 3. It doesn't work very well with the hunting cover and basically just sits still and hums while it tries to swing the arm over the top to go the other direction. Even when it does finally get it over, it doesn't have any traction so it only moves like an inch or two. You can hear the motor trying to spin it, but it doesn't actually move anywhere. You can't take the arm off because the ball needs the arm for leverage to spin.
