So far I'm liking the FRS-9 sleeves. I did have a fly get stuck in the sleeve material when removing my rod from it the first time I used it. Even with that I am happy with the purchase. My rods fold down nicely and fit in the back of my truck and I have peace of mind that they are protected well.

The rod sleeve is great -- have used it and love it! (five stars). The rubber band that I ordered along with it (to hold the fly against the rod while traveling) is a huge ripoff to say the least . . $5 for a $0. 02 rubber band . . seriously? Oh, and for that price I get just ONE??? I'll go pick up a few small o-rings at the hardware store. The rod sleeve is great . . I'd feel less robbed if I at least got a small bag of rubber bands, not just one (that's likely to get lost) . .

I've used this twice. Both times my flies have snagged the inside of the sleeve and I've had to turn it inside out and back them out. Not exactly as advertised, especially with a two fly nymph rig.
