Baby Bear's porridge!

Everyone is different and it would be nice to try the various weights and lengths in person. That said, I went with 4.5 lb and 26" length. That turned out to be just right, like Baby Bear's porridge. Received a really nice straight-grained handle with a tight fit to the head. I am surprised at the sharpness of the bit. Of course, the balance is perfect. From the top of the head to the end of the handle is 24 7/8". I am 6' tall but i like the shorter handle. I'm willing to bend over a little to be more accurate. Shipping was next day and I have been very pleased with all the Westcoast products.

Well manufactured axe

Great service and delivery. Thought 4lb was going to be a bit too heavy, but glad I ordered the 4lb - 26". Very balanced. Easy to swing and hard hitting for driving wedges.
