Gladiolus bulbs were not very large, they have sprouted a few months after being planted, but the sprouts are thin.

Disappointing Yield

I was excited to have 100 gladiolus bulbs and planted them with high hopes. As the summer progressed, many of the bulbs did not make it. The leaves withered and died on about half or more of them! I thought they received adequate water. I used the ONCE Fertilizer that was substituted for the bulb food.
