Good marketing, bad product. It does hold you cup if you get the right sized loop but I ordered two cup holders with two larger sized looks and two of the four had lazer cutting defects. The edges are not chamfered so they are quite sharp. The thumb screws do not have a shoulder on them so they are hard to tighten against the plates. The riser piece does not have any knurling so it is hard to tighten enough to keep it in place with the thumb screw. Its a good looking function product that could use better execution

Works great. In retrospect I probably should have ordered a larger cup holder and installed the rubber strip. The rubber strip on the smallest cup holder makes it too small.
