Swift 6.2

I’ve taken this pack out four or five times now. It’s a really nice pack, although there’s room for improvement in my opinion. 1. I would really like for the bladder to have a separate zippered compartment with a padded/insulated wall between the bladder and the storage compartment. I’m afraid to put anything with an edge in the storage area next to the bladder, IE a loose Allen key, or anything else that could rub against the bladder, wearing through over time. The current design has a very thin wall that doesn’t completely cover the bladder when full. See the photo 2. The exit for the hose should be in line with the shoulder strap. I bought the insulated hose, which is too short, but if the exit was in line with the strap, it would probably be just long enough for a 6’ tall rider with a short torso. (I’m 6’ 2” with long legs and a shorter torso, and have the same sitting height as my 5’10” wife with a long torso and shorter legs. I’m planning to have a button hole sewed in at the base of the shoulder strap to hopefully be able to use the insulated hose, without splicing in a section of non-insulated hose. This should shorten the path for the hose just enough to work for me. I believe it will add about 3” of hose length all said and done. Otherwise the pack is great and works as advertised I really like the full size zippers and the build quality appears to be great other than the flimsy separation between the bladder and the storage area. I have to give 4 stars for these two issues, change them, and it’s 5 stars all the way.

Works as advertised! I don't feel the weight at all with the hydration bladder full and tools in the pack. And it definitely stays put - doesn't sag and rub on my back wheel with the dropper down like my cheapo waist bag before this one!

Tried the rest, this is best for what I do.

The best way to carry some gear and a hydration bladder when mountain biking The load stays low, doesn't slip down, doesn't need a tight waist strap, doesn't make your back sweat, and it's comfortable. The compartments are convenient to access and keep things secure. I found it easy to secure my Silky folding saw to the outside of the pack. The materials and construction are as good as any other packs. The 6.2 is the right size for my needs and my go to pack.
