Recipe Card Set

I actually already had an order of your recipe cards that I bought a while back, intending to give them as Christmas gifts last year and I think they came in after Christmas or something, so I was waiting to gift them this year. When I ordered them, I thought they were a neat gift but sort of dismissed them as a system that didn't work for me. But after reading an email you sent suggesting that maybe our grandmother's systems were right and worked, and after trudging through several weeks of back to school craziness with trying to get back in the meal planning / cooking rhythm, this email made me curious. For a few years now I've used the Paprika app, which Rachel, I think, recommended on a What Have You episode. And it's worked well. But the part in your email about having handwritten recipes hit me and is what really changed my mind. It's so true! I also cherish so much the handwritten recipes I have from other family members. I remember when we got married, my older sister gave me her favorite recipes handwritten in different colored ink pens all on 4x6 cards - I've kept every single one of them but they haven't fit into my "digital system." So, I decided to give it another try. I ordered a cute recipe box from Amazon, and spent the past week writing our favorites on your cards (don't worry, I'll buy another set to gift friends and family for Christmas, ha). I already LOVE the system, and am excited to have something to pass on to my girls one day. I called my sister and confessed that she was right all those years ago, and that I'm grateful yet again for how she took the time to write those recipes down for me! And...I still plan to use Paprika for trying new recipes...I'll save a recipe there, try it, and if my husband says "add it to the box!" then I'll know it's a keeper, and I'll handwrite it! Thanks again for what you design and how it inspires us to make our work beautiful - very grateful!

Beautiful recipe cards! Simple in the right way! Great deal for your money!

I like them!! Very cute patterns. They’re basic but that means versatile. I do wish they were printed on a thicker cardstock. I would repurchase.
