Got 3 for fall planting. These trees a re a great way to go. The branches are grafted around the tree and its like getting a years head start, no debating which branches to scaffold, it already set. Was on year 3 with several apple trees. With the brutal winter last year the squirrel/rabbit resorted to eating the bark off their trunks and 3 died. I am replacing these single species trees with the 4 in 1 because I got my brother a 5in1 about 10 years ago and we get many dozens of apples from it every year. I actually fruited the first spring.

4 in 1 Apple tree

I love my new apple tree! Was surprised that several of the apples I had never heard of and were not listed as possible options on the website (Spartan, Liberty, and Akane) but am very happy with the health of the tree and delighted it had five types of trees on it instead of the promised four! Excited to see how these apples taste in a couple years. Thank you!
