The Complete Trout Fly Tying System

BUYER BEWARE — PDF DOWNLOADS ONLY! The Freestone Flies product photographs prominently display what appear to be professionally printed and bound fly-fishing books. I purchased believing I was receiving physical books. Instead, I received digital PDF downloads only. I consider the advertising misleading, particularly when combined with a no-refunds policy. There are NO physical books included. Know exactly what you’re buying before purchasing! Very disappointed with this experience.

The content appears to be very good but I didn’t realize that you’re only purchasing files for download and are required to print and cut out all of the pages and put into your own binder. Plus the photos don’t exactly match the instructions (ie: flies show a wire rib but recipe doesn’t call for wire or , the photo shows hackle but recipe doesn’t require hackle)

This is a digital download only of AI slop NOT a printed book. Descriptions of the flies don’t match the pictures. You have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the product description to the FAQ section before the seller actually says it’s digital. Very deceptive.
