Ice Dub blends fine synthetic fibers with Mylar tinsel for a sparkle that reads as scale and iridescence, not solid glitter — dub it by hand, in a loop, or off the thread into a nymph body, streamer head, or dry-fly flash accent. Specifications

Replacement for Chenille
Well, wet us start out by explaining I do not tie flies any longer, because I can't trout fish anymore. I just to old and I can't feel my feet, so I crappie fish and tie crappie and bream jigs. Now lets get to the review. I blend different colors and textures of dubbing to get the product I want. I will either build a dubbing loop or make a dubbing brush, or I will apply the dubbing to the string if I only tiring one jig. I do all of this to replace chenille that is not available on the market. Right now you can not find New Age Bleeding Shad anywhere that is affordable. So that is where dubbing comes in to save the show, and it works.

An essential material for blending with craft fur.
Just got silver holographic. Can't believe I didn't already have it since it is such a universal baitfish blend color.

Awesome!
Really love the sheen and sparkle on this dubbing. A little rough to get to stick but with a good quality wax it will work like a charm.
