Stagg Double Wall Carafe

It's pretty nice. I wish it was dishwasher safe. Difficult to get your hand with a sponge into the cavity to wash by hand. Also - to prewarm it, you need to pour a fair amount of hot hot water into it. (Or you have to microwave it with water until simmer. ) It has some thermal mass (which is part of the point, I think) so if you pre-heat by adding a little hot water into it and then pour it out, the coffee will end up losing heat to the glass.

Retains Heat Well And Looks Great

Got this to replace my hario carafe after it finally broke. This is well built, gives me the flexibility to make 2 cups when needed and retain heat really well. It also looks great and fits my hario v60 perfectly. Only slight 'downside' would be that it's a bit hard to clean the inside bottom area and it's a little awkward to grip with one hand to pour. My hands are just big enough to grip it, but it doesn't feel very secure (esp when it's full) and i could see that being a bigger issue if you have small hands. I can see this slipping out of your hand and breaking/spilling if you're not careful.

Near perfection. Could stand to pour without any aim or effort a bit more, spilled a few times while pouring… but once you back off a bit and learn the ‘feel’ of the pour, it’s a dream. Perfectly insulated too… keeps coffee warm a while after filling it up.
