Yukari-chan is Japan’s best-selling furikake since 1970.
This furikake is made with the purple leaves of the perilla plant (also known as the beefsteak plant or Shiso) mixed with salt for a fresh, tart, salty flavor. Delicious!
We recommend adding about one or two tablespoons per 320 grams of rice, but of course you can add as much as you

I like the taste of the particular furikake Yukari-chan , it has a sour salty taste, but dont get carried away by the color - which is my favorite - because it gets very salty.

this is the first one I tried and have had before so I knew what to expect and the taste is really different on my rice. Thank you for making suggestions to use it on other things besides just rice!
