I have never tried the cable that comes with the headset, i ordered them together and once it arrived i swapped the cable with this one. It is really comfortable and almost cant feel a cable that is connected, it is strong, i have sat on my desk chair with the cable under the wheel many times and the cable is fine, not damaged. And works just fine. Worth the money
