I've never heard anything else like this as an in-ear

I've purchased and tried a variety of different IEMs recently. Diving deep into the kilo-buck territory in an attempt to find my end-game IEM after having sampled an AFUL Performer 5+2 and feeling intrigued enough to go deeper. I typically listen to speaker systems and high-end over ear headphones (Susvara, ZMF Atrium, etc.) so when trying out in-ears it was important to me that something about them wow me, and stand out from what I have already. I wanted something with detail and bass energy, but it couldn't sound like it was in my head. I needed something that could match the space of an over-ear. These things are magic. I'm not even sure there's any point in me describing them any other way. My favorite alternative to these so far is the Empire Ears Triton. Super bassy. Incredibly tight and energetic for EDM type music. But they otherwise sound awful in comparison to the Glacier for most other genres. I've tried the FiR Audio Project K which looked beautiful but sounded horrendously sharp. I've tried the ThieAudio Monarch MK II which sounded overall very dynamic and impressive but felt sort of basic and had a terrible fit for my ear. I've tried the AFUL Performer 5+2 which is impressive for its price but didn't feel like it was worth the time compared to other gear I own. The DUNU Glacier is just that. A crystal clear, expansive behemoth of a sound. Larger than you can imagine. Fresh, unoffensive, but deep and haunting when it needs to be. The fact that these are stainless steel shells, and when you put them into your ears they sizzle with a sharp refreshing cool chill -- it just excites me every time I think of the name "Glacier" and what I'm about to experience listening to. The fit is amazing. The sound is amazing. The ear tips are amazing. The only problem with these, is the stock cable. Why DUNU? Why. The cable is disgraceful. White so easily stained and will discolor over time. It has a terrible modular system with a right angle?? its very annoying. The cable is stiff and doesn't feel good. It's not even flush with the IEMs. So be sure to get a different cable to pair with these -- I'm still experimenting.

Dunu Glacier!

Boy, what can I say about the Glacier’s!? This is my first foray into the micro-acoustic world and the Glacier’s disappoint not! The sound is a pleasure to my ears. They sound fantastic across the entire sound frequency spectrum. Since this is my first flagship IEM, I don’t have anything comparable to compare/contrast them with. But, yes, they do sound full-bodied, lush, rich and robust. They can slam, punch and rumble, the vocals sound excellent, both male and female, acoustic guitars, strings and pianos sound just perfect, and cymbal strikes are spot-on. I’ve paired them with the BTR17 and they sound magnificent—and, the BTR17 is no slouch. But, when they’re paired with the SP3000M, this is where they truly shine. I’ve listened to hi-res files, and some much so not so, streaming radio, videos and various Apple + content, and they haven’t disappointed me in the least. The shells are drop-dead gorgeous, with a high degree of tactile quality; with their super polished and buttery smooth texture, they’re a pleasure to hold in the hand. They’re like small pieces of sculpture. While the shells are on the large side, I’ve worn them for hours and hours on end with no fatigue at all. Looks and feels like true a luxury product

Solid build ridiculously wide soundstage. the included accessories and packaging is unlike anything I've seen and really makes you feel like this a luxury product! you get 5 sets of high quality Ear tips, so regardless of your ear size or shape there'll be something perfect for you guaranteed. -Dunu Candy(S,M,L) with a custom metal plate -Dunu S&S (S,M,L,XL) in a custom white color over the default grey (my personal favorite with a much better look to boot!) I thought I'd point this out because I know how much me and others love these eartips in particular. The case is high quality leather stitched with a beautiful tough woven cloth outside and a plush soft inside. And a wonderful braided sleeved modular cable (3.5se 6.35se 4.4bal) Personally I love the sound but I'm not great at putting into words the differences between IEM's. I have the Thieaudio Prestige LTD and I thought those were good but these just have soundstage on a whole different level.
