Creator Grip

Grip pros & cons to me

Pros: The grip is very well made & feels 'just right' in your hand. I've been using a similar grip for several yrs & this grip is better quality. Cons: My other grip will stay synched for 7-10 minutes. This one barely stays synched 1 minute - making for some frustrating experiences. I've contacted Sandmarc TWICE thus far with some questions & have yet to have the courtesy of a response.

This is my second Creator Grip

I make documentaries with my iPhone 17 Pro Max (I’m a 50+ years documentary filmmaker). I had a Creator Grip for my iPhone Pro Max 15-16, but gave it to a friend who was shooting a doc in Alaska (she needed something quick). So I ordered a new one. I’m giving it five stars because it’s basically excellent. HOWEVER, I am disappointed that it still covers the Action Button. Also, the hand strap is just plain badly designed. If you use it, you can’t activate the Record Button, because your hand is locked in an awkward position.

A great improvement

I bought this to replace another top brand believing it was a much sturdier product that would handle my 17 pro max with ease. It hasn’t disappointed and I can’t wait for cooler weather and a chance to put it through its paces,,
