Max Value for the price

This reel has been amazing. Great design, great price point, and great drag. I am a very big fan of how Lamson drags usually turn the right amount for me. Not too much to dial in max if needed and easy to back off. If you are in the market for a high quality salt ready (any water is fine) consider the Lamson Liquid Max. I am seriously considering one of the packages...it's priced right and checks a lot of other boxes.

Very well engineered! Smooth drag with plenty of capacity. Filled with 250 yards of 30lb (room to spare) and. WF 11. Very nice reel.

Under capacity

This is a quality real with a bomber drag system, but it doesn’t hold as much backing as advertised. The 10 with a saltwater shooting line held just under 200yds of 30# backing.
