Excellent entry level machine at a great price point
I've been waiting on the restock of the E24, and it can't be beat for the price. It came in carefully packaged with a sheet stating the accessories and checks done to the machine. It basically looked and operated like a brand new machine for 3/4 the price of a new one. Shipping was very quick as well. For the actual machine itself, it's exactly what I expected. A straightforward, no nonsense device with 3 buttons. Simple to learn, but infinitely moddable. The brass boiler is a welcome addition to the stock one. Out of the box unmodded, it's easy to pull a solid shot consistently with it.

Love it. We bought it for our camper but find the coffee tastes better from this than our Breville Barista Express. So this is our primary machine and we’ll be re-homing the Breville.

Functionally new
I don't know if it's typical, but the so-called refurbished machine that I got was so new it still had the manufacturer cling film on the top of the machine, and on the drip tray grate. Everything functions perfectly, and I was pulling good shots in an hour with a good grinder. About the only thing I'm not sure about is the brew temp light being a little faint, as if the led bulb is recessed a bit. When I got to make modifications I'll probably check it, but it's just cosmetic.
