Tinned Vegetable Sampler

I've purchased the tinned veggies a couple of times now and love them. The last thing we made with them was a bruschetta type dish. These veggies are a great thing to have on had as they are not only tasty but very convenient.

I sent the sampler trip to my son and daughter-in -law as a surprise gift. She is a great cook so I knew she would appreciate these. They tried the garleek right out of the tin on some crusty French bread and LOVED it! My son loved the beets too. They do a lot of camping in Colorado and they said these would be great to throw in their backpacks. I’ll be ordering more and I know they will too!

I love beets but these had absolutely no taste to them. All I could taste was the oil they were swimming in. I was so disappointed. Will not purchase again. I have not opened the tomato or sweet garleek yet .. not sure I want too. I still have the unpleasant taste of the oil in my mouth from the beets. I really wanted to love these.
