They Bled Orange is the fifth book by Michael that I’ve read, and every one has been thoroughly enjoyable and hard to put down. This is one of the most gripping works of Second World War historical fiction I’ve read, full of unexpected turns. Having visited some of the locations myself, I felt especially connected to the story. A truly great read that I’ll happily recommend.

I really enjoy the differing perspectives of the characters in these entertaining and informative books. It’s interesting to read about the Dutch positions during WW 2. The characters are complex and engaging! Thank you

This was the second book of the trilogy. I was anxious to read it after the first one…so, so good. Couldn’t put either book down!
