I first have to say I am not one to like a tropical fragrance, but for me, Maya Njie can do no wrong. This was a blind buy and it was instant love. My only regret is that I got it so late in the summer. It’s sophisticated, unisex, and the perfect mix of tropical and woods. Is absolute perfection!

I understand the power of feedback, and when you create standalone products, it’s almost harder to leave a review. I’ve been a customer of Maya Njie’s for a long time—spraying Tobak when I want to be elusive and Nordic Cedar when I want to feel enveloped in a fresh rain while hiking a trail. Tropica is a portal; with a spray on each wrist and behind each ear, I’m suddenly on a beach in the Caribbean eating fried snapper that I’m chasing with a Ting. I’m eating a juicy mango with its nectar running down my arm—peels and fibers stuck in my teeth. Wafting in the air is coconut, freshly cut and hand-grated for its milk. Tropica is the perfect accompaniment to a hot, humid night paired with the perfectly timed gust of wind.
