Confession, I’m a slight matcha snob, my first ever was by a well known brand that has skyrocketed in price this year (they start wjth an I). I have been chasing that first sip ever since, so after trying a lot of matchas over the years I can genuinely say this one stopped me in my tracks. It has this delicate floral depth with a smooth, almost nutty finish that makes every sip feel sooooo luxurious. The umami is beautiful…rich, balanced, earthy without being overpowering or bitter. You can instantly taste the quality. I’ve been blending it with almond milk, honey, and vanilla extract and it creates the creamiest, most comforting matcha latte ever. It froths beautifully and tastes incredibly smooth. It’s like drinking green gold. Pure perfection. Finding truly high quality matcha at a reasonable price feels almost impossible these days, so discovering this felt like finding the El Dorado. I will be purchasing more. 💚
