T2 Toothpicks
There are many advantages to fishing with tungsten jigs. Low cost and durability are not on one of them. Best hook remover for panfish
This is a must have for ice fishing or anytime using small hooks for panfish. Saves small jigs and lures from forcep damage and is easier to use. Easy to use but there is a small learning curve to be fast and efficient. Slight tension on line and the hook is captured on the T2. No damage to the fish or jighead and the hook is not dangling and getting caught on you and everything else.
I use the T2 all year long for panfish. I now ALWAYS have a spare handy in case I loose one. I also only use Boomerange pin-on tool retractors NOT clip-on with the T2. I wish Cold Snap offered a pin-on option as the clip-on style retractor will fall off and get lost.
The T2 toothpick is an awesome product!

Very easy to use even with frozen fingers. Just have to remember the orientation of my ice jig in order to get to the hook a little better. Or, is there a tried and true method to use on any jig or hook? Do you push down and twist for best results?
