Flex-Link Anti-Crossload Protector

It made a massive difference in my confidence while lead rope soloing, knowing that my grigri will remain nicely in place. Together with the DMM belay master it makes a pretty redundant attachment for your belay device of choice while soloing!

While the design seems good, the portion of the device that becomes a loop when fully connected gets in the way of opening the gate of the carabiner that it is attached to. That, and having to take one side off every time, makes it more time consuming to attach and detach the belay device (I use a grigri) to/from the carabiner. Once it is on, it is great for what it is designed to accomplish. Again, great concept, but ends up being a bit fiddly.
