Edward Gorey Victorian Jacket

This jacket is cut SO WELL. The waistline and bottom silhouette are so flattering. My measurements are for a medium but I sized up because there is corset lacing in the back so I can cinch in fit now and if my size changes the jacket will still fit. This is actually velveteen, not a true velvet so it’s not a softest true velvet, but it holds it structure better with the velveteen. I do wish the lace in the back of the jacket were a little sturdier, and I may replace that with a nicer ribbon. The inside liner is exquisite with the Edward Gorey print.
