Aiders...I've tried the webbing and cable aiders. Always decently easy getting up but getting down wasn't always easy. In the dark it's a bit sketchy with the cables and webbing aiders. Got these in the mail this week (customer service is great and shipping times/prices are good also). I ain't paid but after 2 climbs, I immediately started putting unused equipment up for sale to buy another double step. I'm 5'9" in boots and the 18" step to step ain't bad. Packability is decent and weight is negligible. These aiders shine when it comes to stability on the way down. Should have bought these before webbing aiders and even cable aiders. Highly recommend. Plus if you end up not liking them (which i doubt you won't like em), they have a good resale value. Definitely recommend for those who want stability and ease of use over minimalist setups.
