Vast improvement over the Vertical 1. Battery and screen excellent. HR MUCH more accurate than Vertical 1. Would still prefer wrist band without the pin. HR great after 10-15 min warm up. Wear chest strap if want accurate for entirety of workout.

I’m still getting used to the Suunto Vertical 2 Titanium Black. Overall, I like the watch, but I still have a few concerns. It feels a little heavier than I expected, and despite being a rugged outdoor watch, it sometimes gives me the impression that I need to be careful with it. I’m also still learning the interface and figuring out all of its features. So far, I like it, but I think I need more time using it before I can fully judge it.
