Very comfortable
I recently bought the CX178 road shoe. I have had problems with most shoes hurting my feet after a longer ride, especially in the heat. The wider toe box on the Lake shoe makes all the difference. I am able to wear normal socks, rather than the thinnest ones I can find, and I do not experience pain. They cost a little more than I have paid in the past for shoes, but well worth it.

Excellent shoe. True fit. Lots of room in the toe box. Great all around shoe that’s on the heavy side but I don’t care what a shoe weighs anymore.
