Great product.

Good brakes but not compatible with my frameset

I was hoping to get more USA-made components on my 54cm Moots Routt YBB, but these flat mount calipers won’t work. There are clearance issues with how the cable housing routs to each caliper. The rear was just OK, but the front was impossible. The angle at which the housing meets the caliper, due to the fork’s internal routing, was not possible with the Klamper. When I connected it all, which was very difficult, the housing actually broke the cable adjuster off of the Klamper!! Not the fault of Paul’s, just doesn’t play nice with my particular frame. Really bummed since I love Paul Components and the pewter finish looked sleek with a titanium frame. I’ll keep them around for a future build. Oh, and they are bulky, like twice the width, or more, of other road calipers. I’ll get to use them someday though. Definitely check cable routing before committing to this purchase!
