Definitely relaxing. Slightly tingly tongue. I found that I needed fewer drops per dose then suggested, but I am old and up way too much! The first time I tried it, I felt rather zonked, but not unpleasantly so. And my second go around I reduce see dosage and was just nicely relaxed. Blindly dictated To an extremely dyslexic iPad
