Recteq Chef's Knife

Recteq is a brand I held synonymous with heavy, quality, American steel. This knife is a toy. It weighs 110g less than my comparable Wusthof chefs knife, it is off balance, the tine is unriveted, and its just decorated to look like Damascus steel. At this price point, it’s almost a con, which really saddens me to say. They picked up a star for a hassle-free retun.
