KM Tools Tool-less Countersink Replacement Bits

I really love the countersink tool. However, after less than 50 uses the drill bit snapped. These are not your standard drill bits (extra long and they have a flattened area on part of the shaft, so they have to be purchasded from KM tools). For all the great engineering that went into the countersink and for the high cost, you would have presumed that a better quality drill bit would have been included. When I called to see if they would send me a replacement, I got a definitive "no". I'm on the fence as to whether I would recommend this product as I don't know if the drill bit issue is going to continue to be a recurring problem. If this problem persists, the high cost of this product won't be worth it.

Proprietary Bit

I do like the km tools countersink bit, however when the drill bit recently broke and I needed a new one I discovered it's a proprietary bit, which was a bit disappointing.
