Exceptional, and so unique

Hatsutsumi has an incredibly complex taste and aroma with a gentle but noticeable sweetness tempered by a really sophisticated umami. Silky smooth not unlike a gyokuro, with a subtle astringency, deeply satisfying. The second brew retains much of the first brew’s profile, perhaps a little softer. The third brew remains exceptional, a little more refreshing. I’ll be looking out for Kiya dan’s other teas after trying this gem!

Incredible umami sweetness

First, when opening the bag, what a scent of fresh green tea. Then once brewed, what a sweetness: the sweetest one I ever drink. Definitely, once of my favorite one. This rare tea can be brewed several times and the leaves can be eaten at the end without adding any sauce because it is so sweet.
