How could you not like this? It’s lighter than plenty of one person shelters, but it’s a palace for one, and easily sleeps two. Setup is easy and it’s overall designed well. I don’t think I’ve met any user on the AT so far who doesn’t like their Duplex.

Great lightweight tent
This is a great lightweight tent. A little tricky in high winds, but using the stand alone tent poles its very stable in higher winds. Packs down nice.

We bought this for the 2026 PCT and about 3 weeks in we noticed a number of pinholes in the roof of the tent. We’ve babied this tent by being sure nothing was above our tent, used a ground sheet, kept rocks and dirt off of it when we fold it, and stored it in the stuff sack it came in. But im shocked to see this much breakdown in 3 weeks of use. Definitely cannot trust it in the sierras. Will likely switch to another tent when we get out of the desert. Maybe we got the lemon, but I emailed customer support over a week and a half ago with no response. I really wanted this tent to work, but will likely not buy again or recommend it to others, especially for how much we paid for it. And another thing, the zippers keep pulling apart or are so sticky its difficult to close. We make sure there isnt too much tension at the bottom the tent but a few times each night the zipper splits apart.
