this soap is a great mid point between very creamy, easily used up/dented soaps and harder soaps that are almost a punishment. the suds are nice, but not overwhelming. while the tones are church incense; it's light and well balanced with some genuine musk and woody notes. best of all, it doesn't leave residue in dark hair, and the scent only lightly clings close to your body after a wash. i'm quite pale, but i don't think this would leave someone with darker skin looking ashy, as it doesn't leave much of a cast, just pleasant fragrance and mild hydration.
