It just OK

I’ve used a traditional style straightener almost daily for twenty years. Some of my experience might be me just getting used to the differences of this straightener. The way the clamp closes down on the hair feels weak. There’s just not enough pressure on the hair. I don’t like having to use my other hand on the opposite end of the tool in order to provide the pressure needed to properly style my hair. And my hair is very naturally straight and fine so I can’t imagine someone with very thick or curly hair having success with use of this product.

Natural Gray Hair

I considered getting the l'ange le duo for about 6 months now. I read review after review stating it curls even the most stubborn hair and holds curls for a long time. I ordered the LeDuo as well as the sea salt spray and the thermal protectant. Several videos had discussed the need for these products for straight stubborn hair. So I started with the recommended products. To create curl I need to use the highest and second highest setting. I was a cosmetologist in the 80's and 90's so using a curling iron or wand wasn't new to me. The product heats up quickly, and with the fan on it's not terribly loud. It was packaged nicely and arrived within a reasonable time. Also the pricing was good at the time. Now for performance. As I stated before, it heats up quickly and isn't terribly loud. The curl effect didn't have the WOW I was hoping for. Using this as a straightener is awesome. It is light weight and gets the job done leaving my hair shiny and manageable. I will continue to work on creating a good curl. I was not paid for this review, nor was this given to me for a review. I'm a 63 year old woman that is simply trying to tame my natural gray hair that changes with humidity, something I never had to deal with before. I believe this is a good product. When I master the curl I'll change my review to reflect that.

Works beautifully!

I have used this to both straighten and add curl to my hair. I have a little wavy hair that is medium length. It works great to straighten and I love having a temperature control choice. The rounded barrel with the cooling fan truly does instantly set a curl and my hair is hard to curl. Very pleased with the performance.
