I was a BOA skeptic. I have been converted. It's a very stiff shoe, which was the only reason for my 4stars. I have a crazy foot and even wide open, it's a little tough for me to get in. (Foot type is VERY high arches, very narrow heel and rigid structure.) But once the shoe is on - it fits awesome and rides great. I just spent two days riding park at adult bike camp and didn't have a single pedal slip caused by the shoe (those were strictly operator error). HIGHLY recommend!!!
